• Fish: The crystal-clear waters of the Rainbow River are home to various fish species, such as bass, catfish, sunfish, and gar.
• Turtles: Florida is known for its diverse turtle species, and you might spot various types of turtles sunning themselves on logs or swimming in the river.
• Birds: The river is a haven for birdwatching, with herons, egrets, ibises, kingfishers, ospreys, and many other avian species frequently spotted along the water's edge.
• Alligators: While less common, it's possible to encounter alligators in and around the river, particularly in the quieter, more secluded sections.
• Otters: River otters are playful creatures that can be seen swimming and hunting for fish in the river.
